What the calculator processes, how optional Rybbit analytics works, and how to control consent.
Calculator inputs
The calculator processes wages, work hours, state and benefit-program inputs on this site’s server to return the estimate. There is no account, claim filing or database of calculator submissions. GET results contain inputs in the address; the address can remain in your browser history or in a link you share.
Server operation
The web server can process an IP address and request information to deliver pages and prevent abuse. API rate-limit files store a one-way hash for short-lived request counting. Result pages are marked no-store. Our supplied production server configuration omits query strings from access logs.
Optional page-view analytics
If you accept optional analytics, the production site loads self-hosted, cookieless Rybbit page-view analytics from analytics.pablobravo44.dev. It helps the site owner understand page visits and navigation. We withhold it on local and staging hosts, on any URL with input queries, in embeds and on the API.
Your consent control
The consent banner offers equal choices to accept optional analytics or use necessary features only. Your preference is saved in browser local storage. Cookie settings lets you change it; switching to necessary only reloads the page so the analytics script is removed.
Advertising and links
Display ads and affiliate placements are disabled by default. If enabled later, optional ad code requires consent and affiliate links carry a disclosure. External agency pages have their own privacy policies.
Contact and deletion
If you email a correction, the site owner receives the information you include. Use the contact address for privacy questions or requests about that correspondence. Do not send sensitive claim information.
